# How to Access your FiveM Server

**Introduction**

 **Requirements** 
To connect to the game server, additional software is required. FiveM mandates the use of their official client, which can be downloaded from the [FiveM](https://fivem.net/) website

After downloading the FiveM.exe file, launch the application. When initialized, the program will automatically open Windows Explorer, requiring you to specify the directory where your Grand Theft Auto V installation (including the GTA5.exe file) is located.

**Establish server connection** 
The connection to a game server can often be established in one or more ways. Available methods are described and explained in detail below.

**Server Browser (In game)** 
To connect to your server via the in game server browser, open the server browser in the main menu by pressing on the **Play** option. Click on the search field and specify the name of your game server. Click on the server you have found and then click on the **Connect** button in the server view.

 **If you do not know or forget your server name, simply log in to Keymaster FiveM and navigate to the Servers section. This will display all your active servers. Click on the desired Server ID, then select View Listing. You will be redirected to your server’s listing page on FiveM**

**Potential issues and solutions**

**Server Not visible**
The server may not appear visible if initialization was unsuccessful. This could result from configuration errors, file corruption, or incomplete setup. To diagnose the issue, check the server console and log files for detailed error messages. Additionally, verify that no incorrect filters are applied in the server list, as this could also prevent the server from being displayed
