# How to Activate Your Acronis Cyber Protect Account

This guide walks you through activating your Acronis Cyber Protect account after purchasing. Account activation is done entirely in your web browser, no server access is needed.

### Step-by-Step Activation Guide

1. Check your email inbox for a message with the subject: "Activate account"

|| If you cannot find it, check your Spam or Junk folder.

2. Click the "Activate Account" button inside the email.

3. You need to set a password in order to log in to the Acronis console in the future.

|| Please keep your login ID and password in a secure place for future reference.

4. Tick both the End-User License Agreement and Privacy Statement, then click the Accept button to proceed to the next step.

5. Review the supplementary terms for data processing, then click the Accept all button to continue to the next step.

6. The Acronis console has been successfully activated. You are now on the Overview (Monitoring) page.
