1. Right-click on the MT4 icon on your desktop and click **Troubleshoot compatibility** to diagnose and resolve compatibility problems for MT4.

2. Right-click on the MT4 icon on your desktop and click **Properties** to open properties options for MT4.

Then, click on **Compatibility** tab and tick the checkbox in the **Compatibility mode** section. Lastly, go to **Privilege Level** section and tick on `Run this program as an administrator` and click **OK** to apply changes.
