How to Manage DNS in the cPanel Hosting?
Important Condition (If you want to manage DNS in the cPanel Hosting)
If you would like to manage your DNS from the Client Area, please ensure the following requirements are met:
- Your domain must be using these nameservers if you are purchasing plan package Startup Web Hosting or Business Web Hosting:
ns1.gbnetdns.com
ns2.gbnetdns.com
In the guide below, we’ll walk you through how to manage / change / edit the DNS Record (A, CNAME, TXT, DMARC, MX, PTR, etc) in cPanel.
- Log in to cPanel using Username & Password.

- Inside cPanel, scroll down to the Domains section and click Zone Editor.

- In the Zone Editor area, Click Manage.

- Click "+Add Record" to add DNS Record. You can see a list of DNS records such as: A Record, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, AAAA. Each record shows the name, type, and value. You also can Edit or Delete them here.

- For example, if you want to add A type, you can enter the Name **which is your zone name. Next, insert **Record which is IPv4 Address. Click Save Record.

The DNS record has been successfully added through cPanel. Please allow some time for DNS propagation, which may take anywhere from a few minutes to up to 1 - 2 hours, depending on your domain and network settings. Once the changes have fully propagated, the new configuration will take effect as expected.
