# How to Restore Backup from Acronis Cyber Protect?

### Why do we need to restore backups in Acronis Cyber Protect?



Restoring a backup in Acronis Cyber Protect allows you to recover your files, folders, or entire system from a previously created backup in case of data loss, system failure, or accidental deletion. This process ensures that your data can be restored to a specific point in time with minimal downtime and disruption to your operations.


This guide will show you how to restore backups in Acronis Cyber Protect safely and efficiently:

1. Log in to your [**Client Area**](https://secure.gbnetwork.com/login).

2. Click on **Services** in Client Area.

3. Select the **Acronis Cyber Cloud**. Then, click **Manage**.

4. Click **Go to Cloud Console**.

5. Under the **Usage** section, click **Open Service**.

6. In the left sidebar, go to **Backups** under the **Backup Storage**. Click your **selected backup** that you want. Then, click on **Show Backups**.

7. After that, click the **Recover** button and select the recover that you want.

###### Please note that:

**Recover Entire Machine:** This option restores the full system, including the operating system, applications, and all data, to the selected backup point. It is typically used in cases of major system failure or when a complete recovery is required. 

**Recover Files/Folders Recovery:** This option allows you to restore specific files or folders only, without affecting the entire system. It is suitable for situations such as accidental file deletion or recovering selected data.
