# How to Set up Email Hosting on Android?

For this setup, we are using **Gmail** app. Kindly follow the steps below to add the email account on your phone:

1. Open **Gmail** app and click **Settings**

2. Click **Add account**

3. Click **Other**

4. Enter your _email_ address. Then, click **Next**

5. At `What type of account is this?`, make sure you choose **Personal (IMAP)**

6. Enter your _email_ password. Then, click **Next**

7. For incoming server settings, you may fill in with details as below

* Username: user@yourdomain.com
* Password: your email password
* Server: mail.yourdomain.com
* Port: 143
* Security type: None
Then, click **Next**

8. Click **Edit Settings**

9. Configure Incoming server settings as below.

* Username: user@yourdomain.com
* Password: your email password
* Server: mail.yourdomain.com
* Port: 143
* Security type: None

Then, click **Next**
10. For Outgoing server settings, fill in the details as below.

* Username: user@yourdomain.com
* Password: your email password
* SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com

Then, click **Next**
11. Click **Edit Settings**

12. Configure Outgoing server settings as below.

* Username: user@yourdomain.com
* Password: your email password
* Server: mail.yourdomain.com
* Port: 587
* Security type: None

Then, click **Next**
13. Click **Next**

14. Enter the name and click **Next**

15. Now you can use Email on **Android**.
