How to use the IP Blocker

What is IP Blocker?

The IP Blocker tool in cPanel allows you to block specific IP addresses from accessing your website. This is helpful for preventing unwanted visitors, such as hackers, bots, or abusive users, from reaching your site. It’s a basic security feature that gives you more control over who can interact with your web server.

In the guide below, we’ll walk you through how to use IP blocker.

Login to cPanel.

Note: These Username and Password you can retrieve in your email. You may need to check your Inbox, Spam, or Junk folder for an email with the subject: 'New Account Information'

Perform a search for IP Blocker by using the search bar.



In the IP Address or Domain section, you have the option to input the IP address you want to restrict from accessing your website.



Referring to the image provided, you can also include an IP address range, implied IP address range, CIDR format, and implied format.


The IP addresses will be displayed in the Currently Blocked IP Addresses section.

To remove them, you can click the Delete with trash icon button.

Click Remove IP.
