How to Set a Custom Domain for OpenClaw on Your VPS

Using your own domain name for the OpenClaw dashboard provides better accessibility, a more professional appearance, and ensures all features work securely.

Benefits of a Custom Domain for OpenClaw

  • Professional Branding: Replace the default openclaw.your-vps-hostname.gbnet.cloud with a domain that matches your brand (e.g., ai.yourcompany.com).
  • Secure HTTPS: Your custom domain will automatically receive a trusted SSL certificate, ensuring all communication with your AI agent is encrypted.
  • Seamless Integrations: Some messaging platforms and external services work best with a proper domain for webhooks and callbacks.
  • Easy to Remember: A simple, custom URL is much easier to type, remember, and share with your team.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:
