How to Set up Email Hosting on Android?

For this setup, we are using Gmail app. Kindly follow the steps below to add the email account on your phone:

Open Gmail app and click Settings



Click Add account



Click Other



Enter your email address. Then, click Next



At What type of account is this?, make sure you choose Personal (IMAP)



Enter your email password. Then, click Next



For incoming server settings, you may fill in with details as below

Username: user@yourdomain.com
Password: your email password
Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 143
Security type: None
Then, click Next



Click Edit Settings



Configure Incoming server settings as below.

Username: user@yourdomain.com
Password: your email password
Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 143
Security type: None


Then, click Next
For Outgoing server settings, fill in the details as below.

Username: user@yourdomain.com
Password: your email password
SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com


Then, click Next
Click Edit Settings



Configure Outgoing server settings as below.

Username: user@yourdomain.com
Password: your email password
Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 587
Security type: None


Then, click Next
Click Next



Enter the name and click Next



Now you can use Email on Android.
