How to Set up Email Hosting on Android?

For this setup, we are using Gmail app. Kindly follow the steps below to add the email account on your phone:

1. Open Gmail app and click Settings

2. Click Add account

3. Click Other

4. Enter your email address. Then, click Next

5. At What type of account is this?, make sure you choose Personal (IMAP)

6. Enter your email password. Then, click Next

7. For incoming server settings, you may fill in with details as below

• Username: user@yourdomain.com
• Password: your email password
• Server: mail.yourdomain.com
• Port: 143
• Security type: None

Then, click Next

8. Click Edit Settings

9. Configure Incoming server settings as below.

• Username: user@yourdomain.com
• Password: your email password
• Server: mail.yourdomain.com
• Port: 143
• Security type: None

Then, click Next

10. For Outgoing server settings, fill in the details as below.

• Username: user@yourdomain.com
• Password: your email password
• SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com

Then, click Next

11. Click Edit Settings

12. Configure Outgoing server settings as below.

• Username: user@yourdomain.com
• Password: your email password
• Server: mail.yourdomain.com
• Port: 587
• Security type: None

Then, click Next

13. Click Next

14. Enter the name and click Next

15. Now you can use Email on Android.
