How to Set up Email Hosting on Android?
For this setup, we are using Gmail app. Kindly follow the steps below to add the email account on your phone:
- Open Gmail app and click Settings

- Click Add account

- Click Other

- Enter your email address. Then, click Next

- At
What type of account is this?, make sure you choose Personal (IMAP)

- Enter your email password. Then, click Next

- For incoming server settings, you may fill in with details as below
- Username: user@yourdomain.com
- Password: your email password
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 143
- Security type: None
Then, click Next

- Click Edit Settings

- Configure Incoming server settings as below.
- Username: user@yourdomain.com
- Password: your email password
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 143
- Security type: None

Then, click Next
- For Outgoing server settings, fill in the details as below.
- Username: user@yourdomain.com
- Password: your email password
- SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com

Then, click Next
- Click Edit Settings

- Configure Outgoing server settings as below.
- Username: user@yourdomain.com
- Password: your email password
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 587
- Security type: None

Then, click Next
- Click Next

- Enter the name and click Next

- Now you can use Email on Android.
