What is Shared Hosting?

GB Network Solutions provided two types of Shared Hosting: Linux Shared Hosting & Windows Shared Hosting

Shared hosting is where individual web hosting accounts are hosted on a server along with other websites.
They effectively ‘share’ the server’s key resources such as disk space, CPU and RAM, and other resources.
GB Network Solutions uses CloudLinux on all shared hosting servers, so the risk of degraded service due to ‘noisy neighbors’ is dramatically reduced as each hosting account has a limit on the resources it can use. These limits are generous enough to ensure a high level of performance whilst at the same time protecting other users from abuse by one or two accounts.
With Shared Hosting, the client receives their own cPanel login, and they can self-manage by creating email accounts and domains.
By using Shared Hosting, clients can build their own websites. Even without any experience, it is possible to build the first website quickly and easily.
They also have access to more advanced features such as database management and a wide range of free software such as WordPress, which can be installed with one click via a tool called Softaculous.
