How to Change Nameservers When an “An Issue Was Encountered..” Error Occurs
If you encounter the following error message when trying to change your domain nameservers through the Client Area:

This error indicates that the nameserver update could not be completed through the Client Area. In some cases, the issue may occur due to the domain's current status, registrar-side restrictions, or a temporary issue when processing the nameserver update.
If you encounter this error, you may try updating the nameservers again using the steps below. Please ensure that the nameservers provided are correct and belong to the hosting or DNS provider you intend to use.
- Log in to your GB Network Client Area.

- On your Client Area dashboard, simply click on Domains to view and manage your domain list.

- Locate the selected domain and click Manage.

- From the left-side menu, click Registrar Lock and disable the setting temporarily.

- Once the Registrar Lock has been disabled, click Nameservers from the left-side menu and update the nameservers with the required nameserver details.

- Then, return to Registrar Lock and enable the setting again to protect your domain from unauthorized changes.

Why Do I Need to Disable the Registrar Lock?
Registrar Lock is a security feature that helps prevent unauthorized changes to your domain, so it may need to be temporarily disabled to allow the nameserver update to be processed; once the update is completed, you should enable it again to maintain your domain's security.
